Need to Boost Your Bankroll for Football?

Strategy (need to boost your accounts for football?)

ATSBAS is the one true Sports Forecasting Advisory Firm, not just a handicapping service, because of the insight our advisors offer to our members. We are not satisfied with simply throwing picks up and calling it a day. We work alongside each of our clients to grapple with their finances and objectives to set them on the right strategy and win. Now if you’re like me, reading that made you ask “what strategy is right?”, right? It is not hard to find countless pages of betting advice online and offline. Obviously if all it took to win a profit  is reading a few articles and cracking open a can of elbow grease then the books would be out of business. However before I get into the core strategy at ATS there are a few basic lessons that play into our game plan.

Cut Back On Parlays (or cut them out!)

It’s no secret that parlays exist to pad the books’ bottom line. The ability to hit extraordinarily high odds can be an energizing way to really dig into the details behind every pick. Many players also see parlays as more within their risk tolerance. However, it is incredibly rare to find a parlay player who can show a profit over the long term. The win percentage is just not high enough to justify the slow drain, no matter the payout. If your #1 goal is profit, it is best to think of each parlay as a step in the wrong direction.

Shopping the Lines

This is one of the easiest tactics to do, and it denies the book the chance to monopolize their tax.. It’s as simple as signing up for multiple books and tracking the movement of the line in order to get the best lines as well as any promotions they offer to compete with each other.

Bankroll Management

This step is as simple as it is critical: set aside a sum of money that you are fully comfortable with losing, and only use that money to play your bets. The Bankroll is an integral part of our overall strategy, we insist that every player we work with should use it.

Fading the Public aka The Contrarian

A little less basic but still a common tactic is to identify when a line may be inflated due to the wider betting public all trying to take a slice of the winning pie, and then just bet against them. The books have an enormous interest in setting the line not where the margin of victory will be decided, but where the money they have coming in from people’s bets can be split evenly. Too much on either side and the book cannot cover its costs. So if the public pushes a total line from 28 to 32, then the Under is the safer bet. These are all solid strategies that any bettor should know how to use, but they are all focused on short term goals. Our objective is to win a reliable profit over the long term, to turn our clients’ sports betting into a revenue stream. Over our 33 years in business we have seen that the highest returns are not reaped by the players who are only thinking in the short term. Those are the players who end up chasing losses because they are only focused on the next big payout. Maximizing your returns while minimizing risk requires what we call a Marginal Gains Strategy. By prioritizing gradual – but reliable – growth over high risk high return bets we achieve stronger returns over the long term, which in turn empowers our players to make bigger bets and reap greater profits. As the cycle of growth continues we use our Progressive System to protect those gains while increasing the rate of growth. The books are bigger than ever, and they grew into that size by incentivizing thriftless habits. Taking a profit from them season after season requires disciplined and economical habits. For 33 years ATSBAS has provided the selections, the strategy, and the coaching bettors need to win – so why think only about this season? What are your goals over the next 5, or 10 seasons? Our expert advisors have helped thousands of clients achieve their wealthiest dreams, contact us today and we will be happy to show you how.
