What a great time of the year with the Super Bowl going on Sunday, College Hoops heating up and Spring Training starting next week!

Super Bowl LX is coming up on Sunday and this is where the casual bettors lose money on exotic props, “will a player or coach cry during the National Anthem” or “what will the Gatorade color be”? Those are ridiculous props for people who watch football just once a year or are casual fans and don’t want to bet on the game.

Today is the NBA Trade deadline (3pmET) and we’ve seen a lot of big deals before that Thursday deadline. Golden State added oft-injured Atlanta center Kristaps Porzingis for Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield. Cleveland swapped point guards, adding veteran James Harden to the LA Clippers for Darius Garland. Chicago dealt Coby White and Mike Conley to Charlotte for Collin Sexton in a three-team deal with Oklahoma City, who got Mason Plumlee and waived him.

The biggest and most surprising was that Dallas was able to dump C Anthony Davis and G Jaden Hardy to Washington for a first-round pick (late) this season, one in 2030 and a bunch of filler.

The bottom line is that some of these trades change the dynamics of teams, either the ones losing the players or the ones (usually contenders) who are gaining key players. In the betting world, information is more important than ever and our 33+ years of experience allows us to analyze each trade and decide which teams will continue to decline and which ones were helped by these deals. Some of these trades may take a while to enhance a team’s roster because chemistry is key on a basketball team. Sunday is one of the saddest days for sports fans because the NFL season ends right after 10pmET. While this is a tough day for football fans, sharp bettors are upbeat because of the vast money-making opportunities available.

• In fact, football returns on Friday, March 27, when the UFL kicks off its 10-week regular season, which ends in late June. This will be the third season of the UFL. The 60th Super Bowl is over, and while it wasn’t the prettiest game, our clients felt better than most because they made a small fortune. Once again, ATS clients hit the top play: Seattle (-4.5) over New England, 29-13. We also hit our most profitable prop bet, amongst others, with Kenneth Walker winning MVP (+850).
