This is the final week of the college basketball tournaments before March Madness officially begins next week.

When betting these games, remember to review the NET Rankings alongside all the Bracketology reports. That doesn’t guarantee a winner by betting on teams that are on the bubble, because linesmakers also know which teams are motivated. What they don’t know about is which teams are slumping in terms of confidence, which ones have too many selfish players thinking about their next portal stop, and which ones have a lack of chemistry.

Let’s take a look at the latest odds for the Power Five teams to win the conference tournaments and best bets.

ACC

Favorite (DraftKings)

Duke -330

So many teams have injury issues, including Duke who will be playing without point guard Caleb Foster and center Patrick Ngonbba II.

Best Bet: Virginia +650

The Cavs have won two straight and 11 of 13 games. They just seem to do enough right things to win. They also have one of the best defenses in the nation.

Big 12

Favorite: Arizona +105

Best Bet: Iowa State +700

This is a great conference and this is one of the best teams. Iowa State brings a strong defense and a very good 3-point shooting team (14th). 

Big East 

Favorite: UConn +100

Best Bet: St. John’s +185

Take Rick Pitino in a conference tournament. He’s won 15 over the years, including the ones that were vacated. They’ve won three straight and the last time they faced UConn, they were embarrassed 72-40. You know that’s in the back of his mind if they meet up again.

Big 10 

Favorite: Michigan -135

Best Bet: Michigan State +600

The Spartans have revenge on their minuds after losing at Michigan in the finale. Before that, they won five straight games, and that’s not unusual for a Tom Izzo team to peak at the right time.

SEC

Favorite: Florida -170

Best Bet: Florida

There is nobody remotely close to Florida right now in the SEC. Arkansas is the second favorite at +600 and it appears that star guard Darius Acuff will play. If you’re willing to go against Florida, take the chance.
