As we finish the college basketball tournaments this week, there are still high-major teams on the bubble, trying to win one or more games to get off it.

Last week, we covered those squads, and unfortunately, most of them lost and didn’t cover. Either way, it’s still important to know which teams are barely in the NCAA Tournament by most predictions or are barely out because motivation is a factor. But in the new NIL/Revenue Sharing era, what can’t be quantified is how many of those players are more concerned about the bottom line ($$$).

Let’s take a look at each high-major conference and which teams are on the bubble or who might barely be in the tournament, but can’t afford to lose a game in the tournament. A loss might put some of these teams out of the Big Dance or place in the First Four. You can get on them, against them, or pass, but remember that each of these teams should be motivated to play their best basketball of the season.

ACC:

NC State (35 NET), SMU (39 NET), Stanford (59 NET), Virginia Tech (55 NET).

Big 10:

UCLA (34 NET), Indiana (37 NET).

Big 12:

TCU (41 NET), UCF (51 NET), Cincinnati (46 NET)

MAC:

Miami-Ohio (53 NET)

SEC:

Texas (42 NET), Auburn (40 NET), Oklahoma (54 NET).

WCC:
Santa Clara (38 NET).
