College Basketball is the Focus in February

College Basketball is the Focus in February

In Wednesday’s blog, we discussed the weather improving and that baseball is heading into exhibition play next week.

But the focus is on college basketball. With the NFL over and the NBA headed to the All-Star break, the lines are still not adjusted due to many factors:

  • Mid-major conferences are being taken for granted. Nobody knows these teams, and most injuries go unreported.

  • Overall, most teams do not report injuries or rotation changes. Injury/rotation changes aren’t widely reported.

  • There are travel fatigue spots and look-ahead / revenge games that most handicappers refuse to consider.

  • Bubble teams are playing desperately to win games. Motivation is usually not a factor for linesmakers.

  • Locked-in seeds could be resting guys later in the regular season.

  • Teams also want to avoid playing in the First Four. That means they would have to win the game and play in the first round two days later.

Casual bettors know that Arizona and Duke are good, but what about the rest? Do they know that Miami Ohio is 24-0 overall, but also 15-6 ATS? Do they also know that Oregon is one of the worst cover teams at 7-17 ATS?

Speaking of our blog post on Wednesday, which mentioned hoops heating up with the weather, ATS went 4-0 in basketball on Wednesday with Stanford, Tennessee, USC and Florida, as $250/unit players winning $3,500 in one night.

That brings us to another huge weekend of college basketball. Two weeks ago, we hit the College Basketball Lock of the Year with Kansas (-4) over BYU 90-82, and also $250s collected nearly $5,000.

This Saturday, ATS circled an early line underdog that will win OUTRIGHT! Don’t miss our College Basketball Max Bet Underdog Lock of the Year for Feb. 14. You can purchase the game separately or join our Underdog Max Bet Lock of the Year Weekend Package, featuring 9-10 big games from Friday-Sunday. Spring training has begun! That means that the 2026 Baseball is also just around the corner, as Spring Training starts TODAY and Exhibition play begins on Feb. 20.

In 2025, ATS won 3 out of 4 weeks in Exhibition Games, as $250/unit clients won $4,325. We’ve averaged winning 24.9 units in the spring training games over the last five seasons, $6,225.

We’ve also been cleaning up in the UFC, going 7-1 in the last two cards. Last week, we had Mario Bautista (-142) over Vinicius Oliveira, Klaudia Sygula (-170) over Priscila Cachoeira and Ketlen Sourza (-148) over Bruna Brasil. Check out our UFC package at $250 per card. The next one goes on Feb. 21 from Houston.

Daily Program Plays

First Game

*Our side has the major rebounding advantage

*Our opponent struggles to shoot the ball overall and on the road.

*Our side has revenge on their side after losing the first meeting on the road.

*Our opponent is a little banged up (not reported) and that could hamper their depth.

Second Game

*Both teams are top 10 in pace of play

*Both squads struggle defensively, especially the home team

*One team is starting to get healthier and that will help on the offensive side.

*One has injury issues, but that will impact their defense more than their offense.
